Some herbs are checking their contacts and pointing out that this isn't what I promised them. I'm sure I'll pay for it later.
I shall now go cuddle up with a warm blanket and THE catalog.
Petunia is the garter snake that moved into our vegetable garden in its early days. This space shares the ever-evolving garden along with some excursions beyond the fence. It's a garden log for us and our friends and family far and near. Hope you enjoy the visit.

I always sigh with relief when it has snowed and I can have a day doing indoor things like sewing with a clear conscience. Usually I have to wait until after dark for "my time"!
Yippee snow - fancy a snow ball fight - is it that sort of snow - or is it the fluffy sort that won't stick together?
Snowmen!!! and snowballs and sledging and cold fingers and cold toes and pink noses and rosy cheeks, those where the days!!!
Whoo-hoo snow - it`s been a while since i have seen any Swap you, my rain for your snow!! its been a strange winter here, one and a half times more rain than normal for this time of year
We haven't had any snow to speak of yet..usually it's piled waist high all along the drive.
I don't miss it..!
lovely photos. I love that kind of snow that piles up on old seed heads and bird baths. Enjoy your guilt free time.
Neighbor, great pictures of the snow! From the looks of the sky right now, I'm not sure it's planning to leave anytime soon.
That's amazing that you are having that much snow where you are. It's so beautiful to look at, but I'm not missing it this winter. Weather is crazy everywhere. I'm here in Arizona for the winter - and we've been below freezing the last two nights!
My grandchidren would be so envious of your snow. Maybe soon we will have some. You have some beautiful photos....
Now I'm off to find my woollen gloves and boots...just in case the snow comes our way.
We had some snow this morning but it is all gone now. I am so glad I didn't buy a new snowblower this fall! Actually, I'd like some snow, just once this year. Not much, just a few inches, just enough to take a few pictures. Then it can melt.
No snow here....but it is getting colder!
D
I which we had some of that here in Florida, this year we didn’t even get a mild winter
Last time it snowed here was May 2000. Can't say I miss it though, too cold and wet for me. Don't know what's better snow or 100F heat. Actually somewhere in between I think!
As this has been around for a while, we did get in a nice walk in that Soos Creek area I posted about. Also tramping around the yard has been fun. But, if it isn't so bad the roads are almost closed, I have to tackle the hills and curves and watch out for the sheets of ice on my way to work. We don't usually have snow like this here. Hope you enjoy some sights, but not the cold, of it.
