The beans at the other end are already climbing. I hope some more can make it to safety before the guilty party returns.(Any idea who would do this terrible deed?)

I want some beans on mine! They just seem to be growing higher and higher with no sign of any pods! Hope yours get to safety before another 'attack'!
As you're in the US you may have some critters we don't have here. My problem is usually slugs and snails; sparrows nibble at the flowers too. Hope you find the culprit before any more harm is done.
I have watched rabbits bite at stems and 'cut' down my flowers. I wonder if they are responsible for this too..?
Definitely looks like rabbits have been in your garden, too. I'm quite familiar with their ways, unfortunately. AND NOW THEY ARE EVEN COMMENTING?! They are getting quite bold, too bold! We must fight back!
deer? The same thing happened to my pea vines a while back. Wabbits would pwobabwy nibble them right off at the base. Maybe they're gourmet wabbits who only like the tenderest tips?

Well, I'm starting to think slugs. No deer foot prints and I'd think even the rabbits would leave some signs behind (since they now even leave comments!). I put down some coffee grounds to see if that will discourage slugs or confuse the nibbler (I had some around anyway). Thanks for the input! And Ali, I'll check out the meme.
