Petunia is the garter snake that moved into our vegetable garden in its early days. This space shares the ever-evolving garden along with some excursions beyond the fence.

Oh my god, is your Nikko really enjoying that position? It does not at all look quite relaxing.... ;-))) But it's for sure a funny shot!
Sorry, I have not at all any experiences with beets....
Oh how cute!! I love kitties and this photo is just wonderful....lol. Thank you for stopping by my blog for a visit. Yours is nice!
Funny, funny cat!
My husband has to put up with one just alongside hismonitor all day, but that cat of yours is extreme. He is a beauty....lokks just like one we lost last summer!
What a purr..fect photo. Bet it's nice and warm...cat's seem to get comfy anywhere!
She is hanging there like a ragdoll cat - how cute is that
You sure she's not after the 'mouse'!!!
What a fluffy tail!!!
lol, that made me laugh! She's a lovely looking cat. And I love your photos below of the snow, I so wish we'd get a decent amount of snow here.
Pretty cat. Love the fluffiness. As far as beets, I've been growning Detroit dark red. I've tried several varieties of golden beets, but always have problems with them. Detroit seems to produce well and have few issues. And they are delicious.
Really cute picture. Your cat is beautiful!
I have never grown beets, so I can't help you there.
When I first glanced at your picture of your cat, I thought it was being held up in the air by strings, like a puppet! It is a great picture!
Cute pic of your cat! lol
My onlysexperiences with beets, is eating them! I love the home-canned ones, and it is easy to can them.
I have lurked at your blog for a while and never posted, I visit your just about every day. Enjoy being here. ;o)
Your cat is too cute. I would try a yellow or golden beet. They seem to be showing up in all the restaurants in California, roasted. Always yummy!
What a super cat..I had a DLH black and white tom...and he used to lie across my key board.
Anything for attention..!
What a sweet kitty!!! :)
As far as the beets go, I've had the Detroit Reds and liked them. My favorite, though, was the Yellow Mangel beet from Seeds of Change. WOW were those good... I couldn't find them in the health food store last year, so this year I'm mail ordering.
The mysterious Nikko finally appears!! Cute picture, but looks awfully uncomfortable.
I usually grow the detroit ones . . . i am not curious about the striped ones.
Beets YUM!
