This was the drive to a wedding at a beautiful spot near Mt. Rainier. We hadn't been on a drive this long since our safari days. Add in the effects of jet lag and we both were feeling the need for a distraction from the drive.
Where are the zebras, I asked? (the abundant distractions we had in Tanzania)
Moments later, we spotted a giraffe. To our jet-lagged minds, this was just what we needed.
