Post Frost

While I was traveling, DH harvested these pumpkins. There are still some on what's left of the frosted vines. DH didn't want these to get frost bitten while I was off getting poison ivy bitten! In the greenhouse, the twigs of basil-past will be traded out for some lettuce plantings.

The garden, as it was last night.

Did you have frost there? Look at all those great pumpkins! We got 0 :(
Your garden is still looking great.

Isn't that just a wonderful colour? I love looking at pumpkins, and happy memories of our joint picture with the Rouge vif D'etamps when I visited a while back!

Those pumpkins are beauties!
The garden certainly looks bountiful, wow.
Hope you can make it to the SAGBUTT gathering tomorrow!

Thanks for the pumpkin love! I think there was a good frost while I was gone, by the looks of things. I need to clean up the pumpkins for show & storage, then start eating.
Last year, they were mostly green at this time.

Aerie-el - so glad you posted this. I had not yet seen the meeting invites. I hope to make it!
