Bastyr is in the Seattle area (Kenmore, technically, but greater Seattle area). It is a beautiful campus, but it helped that we had such wonderful weather that day.

Thanks for link to the school. Looks like an interesting place. Since reading Foxfire books, I've been really interested in making as much of our own stuff as possible. Maybe what I find on their website could be beneficial. Seems like your time there was beneficial, too.

They had a bastyr vegetarian cookbook at the cafe, but I hoped the website might also have some recipes. I haven't looked for them yet. There is a gardening event coming up, so I may be browsing the bookstore for cooking & garden books.

It was S & L from our Advent group that went too! We still meet about every two weeks.
