Also, for the past two nights, I've been hearing the Pacific Tree Frogs singing their little hearts out. Not yet in our little garden pond by the patio, though. He always arrives quite late.

Petunia is the garter snake that moved into our vegetable garden in its early days. This space shares the ever-evolving garden along with some excursions beyond the fence.

So exciting to get seedlings up this time of year isn't it? I have just bought a packet of ultra-early broccoli seeds. Should be harvested in January next year. I've also been reviewing my planting plan for this year. I'm making space for the delicata squash and the red pumpkins you gave me.
I love perennials too - your lungwort is actually flowering - how wonderful - far more advanced than mine. We are being battered by horrendous storms and gales this week. So all I can do is revisit your blog and soak up your wonderful photos - and look at those last year too.
