Hawthorn Berries

Along with the rosehips, these hawthorn berries are decorating the hillside now. I just realized this little tree has something to offer across the seasons.

We have huge flocks of Redwing and Fieldfare who strip the berries really quickly!

Frankie, I'm not sure we have either of those birds. I'll try to watch this weekend and see who might be visiting (as it is not close to the house or garden, I probably miss most visitors).

Paula, I thought about making a wreath with the colorful berries. Maybe the bird wouldn't miss a few bunches. No, I'm sure they won't. I'll have to try this.
