Winter's Grasp

Gourd bungee cords. This is just to remind me that it was still quite frosty this morning. Iced over water puddles and everything. I wonder how the sprouting garlic greens are handling it. This photo is from the frost on Oct 30th. See here and here for other frost photos.

Has anyone planted peas yet?

17 days to peas and onions and potatoes. Always on St. patricks day around here in PA. I envy you your growing season.

Thanks for visiting, frost & all. Meresy, remember our growing season often comes with 17 days of rain in a row. Not many of the plants like that. It snowed on me coming home tonight.
