Sunshine in a Glass

Dear Husband (DH) recently returned from visiting his Dear Parents (DP) in parts south of here...way south. He returned with a nice citrus mix from their garden. From one jumbo lemon, like the one behind the glass, and a few small ones, he made lemonade tonight. After one glass, I feel as sun-kissed as the grapefruit there in the front.

lovely. Lemonade in January is a great idea. Those fruits look so different from the supermarket kinds. I can't imagine being able to grow citrus fruits. How cool.

When life gives you lemons...

I wish we could grow citrus up here in NJ. It would definitely improve the profit margin on my son's lemonaide stand. :)

I started to say in the post that I'm not a huge lemonade fan, but I love what DH makes from DP's supply. I may not want to know how much sugar he put in it, but rather, I think the lemons are just not super tart. It turns out very refreshing.
