What is it?

Now I know, thanks to JLB at Arboreality! It's a white campion (with some unusual petals).
This little star is growing in the edge of the former pasture, now known as Petunia's Garden. Any ideas? Here, it is only a foot or so off the ground, but I noticed another about 4 feet tall.

That's called white campion! :) Isn't it beautiful... I've found some around my cottage as well.

Thanks! May as well enjoy the wildflowers along the way even if they are otherwise known as weeds per some websites!

You know, some of my absolute favorite flowers are classified as weeds... personally, I love to encourage them to grow among my other plants, dandelions and all!

Glad I could help. :)
